Hunter Salisbury Advances to Chicago with
his seventh grade science fair project. |
Hunter has worked on his 7th grade science project since October 2009.
It required passing various milestones with research and experiment. Once
turned in, he moved up from school to area science fair judging. He was
also judged on his poster, presentation and abillity to answer questions.
In this last round, the exciting news is he was judged for one of best
in show and he has advanced to the city finals. Hunter has made the science
fair city finals for private schools, and he will be exhibting at Museum
of Science & Industry on March 13th in the category of Microbioligy.
Exhibits are open to the public from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Winners from there will advance to State which will be in Champaign/Urbana
in May. His city competition will be fierce, and he is thrilled and bouncing
off the walls that he made city finals. He told me at least he can say
he had an exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry.
